This emerged from songwriting challenges from two songwriting groups I'm in. One was to write a song using and instrument you don't normally play; the other was to write a song from the provocation 'panic'. So here is my first foray into synth + drum machine production. Maybe inspired by the global pandemic we were in the middle of. I had so much fun doing this, there's no way it will be my last synth + drum machine song.
Synth: Roland Juno 106 (three times)
Drums: 808 emulator in Logic Pro
Vocal mic: Bell & Howell 302 PA mic (that's a Shure CA80C ceramic capsule microphone)
